Artist Rachel Dubbe creates commissioned portraits for private clients. The creative team
Every portrait starts with a private meeting with Rachel Dubbe, at the residence of the client or on location at the artist’s studio. Individual wishes, taste and personal style inform the creative concept of the shoot, designed by Rachel Dubbe, with the assistance of a professional make-up artist and a stylist. This is where the artist’s vision comes into play, searching for the ideal way to enhance one’s strength and beauty.

An afternoon in the studio
The client will be invited for a half day of photography in Rachel Dubbe’s studio. Music, drinks and bites will set the tone for a relaxed atmosphere. The stylist will offer a curated selection of clothing items and accessories tailored to the client, providing three inspiring sets for the shoot, complemented by professional make-up looks that can range from soft and natural to fashionable and expressive.

Your personal artwork
Following the shoot, the artist will select four images for a quality A4 print, presented in a black box – a present in itself, ready to be framed if desired. This allows the client to decide on a favourite image that will form the basis for the final artwork. Rachel Dubbe will then transfer the chosen image onto museum-quality linen, adding subtle layers of paint to compose the final portrait. The artist will personally install the artwork on location, to be treasured forever as a symbol of a unique moment in time.

Kunstenaar Rachel Dubbe maakt portretten in opdracht voor particulieren.
Geïnspireerd door het verfijnde spel met licht en kleur van zeventiende-eeuwse
Hollandse meesters, focust ze zich op de ogen en onthult ze het karakter en de
persoonlijkheid van de geportretteerde. Door fotografische afbeeldingen en
laagjes verf zorgvuldig te verwerken op grote doeken zonder lijst, transformeert
ze haar ingewikkeld gestileerde portretten tot unieke en tijdloze objecten.

de opdrachtgever of op locatie in de studio. Individuele wensen, smaak en
persoonlijke stijl vormen het uitgangspunt voor het creatieve concept van de
fotoshoot, ontworpen door Rachel Dubbe in samenwerking met een
professionele visagist en een stylist. In dit concept ligt de visie van de kunstenaar
besloten – een zoektocht naar de ideale manier om iemands kracht en
schoonheid te tonen.

Een middag in de studio
De opdrachtgever wordt uitgenodigd voor een halve dag fotografie in de studio
van Rachel Dubbe. Muziek, drankjes en hapjes zetten de toon voor een
ontspannen sfeer. De stylist combineert een selectie kleding en accessoires,
afgestemd op de klant, tot drie inspirerende sets, aangevuld met professionele
make-uplooks die kunnen variëren van zacht en natuurlijk tot modieus en
expressief.

Uw persoonlijke kunstwerk
Na de fotoshoot selecteert de kunstenaar vier afbeeldingen voor een
hoogwaardige A4-afdruk, gepresenteerd in een zwarte doos – een cadeau op
zich, klaar om indien gewenst te worden ingelijst. Dit stelt de opdrachtgever in
staat om een favoriet beeld te kiezen dat dienst als basis voor het uiteindelijke
kunstwerk. Rachel Dubbe zal vervolgens het gekozen beeld overbrengen op
dubbel geweven linnen en met subtiele verflagen het uiteindelijke portret creëren.
De kunstenaar zal het kunstwerk persoonlijk op locatie installeren, waar het voor
altijd kan worden gekoesterd als symbool van een uniek moment in de tijd.
